About CareAR Instruct
CareAR Instruct is an app used to provide step-by-step instructions for users to self-serve through visual guidance. Instruct content can include Augmented Reality, Digital Twin, and 2D content consisting of text, images, and video. CareAR Instruct content is produced with the help of CareAR professional services team.

Release 23.03 of CareAR Instruct app delivers the following:

New Features
Session History Detail Support
This version of the CareAR Instruct app now supports sending session data to the CareAR portal. When users access experiences, their usage data will be sent to the CareAR portal session history allowing content creators to see how users are using experiences. This data can provide useful insights that can be used to improve and streamline the content for better usability.
Web API Support
The CareAR Web API has been extended now to support CareAR Instruct. This API allows a developer, from their application, to launch CareAR Instruct session for an experience and retrieve data generated during session. Please review the Web API developer documentation for details.
Standard Content Support
This version of the CareAR Instruct app has enabled support for new standard content experiences created with the CareAR Experience builder. The following features are now supported:
Visual Verification Support
The Visual Verification feature, currently in beta, works by using computer vision AI to analyze images from the camera of the user’s device to detect specific objects and direct the user to specific steps. This can be used as a method of compliance to ensure the user is following the steps within the instructions correctly. This feature is now supported with the Instruct app.
Camera Capture Support
The Camera Capture feature allows users to capture of images within the experience. The images can be sent via email or webhook to third party system. You can also optionally choose to store in the CareAR portal. This feature is now supported with the Instruct app.
iframe Element Support
It is possible to embed third party web pages within a standard content experience using the Experience Builder. Experiences that have an iframe within them will now work with the Instruct app.
