When content creators are working within the Experience Builder all changes are continuously synchronized with a draft of the experience. This draft is separately maintained from the published experience. The content creator can make changes to the draft experience without affecting the published experience in any way. This means the content creator can also allow other content creators to review the draft and make changes.
A draft copy of an experience may be reverted to a previous published state. This can be done by selecting the dropdown under the last saved time stamp to the top of the Experience Builder screen and selecting the live copy of the experience. In doing so, all draft changes will be lost, and the experience will revert to its last stable state.
When the experience is published, the draft experience is copied to the published experience and available for users to access. Once published, the new experience is instantly available for all users who can access the experience, using the CareAR Instruct App, CareAR App, or through a QR code and a URL link.
Note: The QR code used by CareAR is standard, with no proprietary information.
Note: If you edit an experience and close it without publishing it, the changes are lost.
The PUBLISH button () on the top-right corner in the Experience Builder starts publishing the experience. When the publishing is complete, a permanent URL and a QR code is generated for the experience. You can use the URL link to open the experience on the web browser, or the QR code to open the experience in the CareAR Instruct app.
Note: Refer to the Admin Portal to view a list of published experiences.
