Launch Page
Any new experience that you create has a Launch page by default. This page is the landing page of your experience and is the first page that opens when you launch an experience on your device using the URL or QR code.
By default, the Launch page has three visual elements - image, text block, and standard button. You can add more elements from the Add element sidebar on the right of the page.
When you select the Launch page in the canvas, its Page Settings are visible in the Page templates panel. The Page Settings provides options to enable the Search feature and select the Experience Access for mobile app and/or web browser.
Important points about the Launch page:
- It cannot be deleted or duplicated.
- It can have only one image element.
- It can have only one standard button that cannot be deleted.
- The On click action of the standard button cannot point to the previous page.
- It cannot have card buttons or 3D objects.
Page Templates
The Page templates panel is collapsible and is open by default when you launch an experience. This panel has pre-defined page templates hosting a collection of different visual elements such as text blocks, buttons, images, videos, and 3D objects. You can use these page templates to quickly design the layout of your pages and tweak it as per the requirements.
The four page templates available in the Experience Builder are:
To add a particular page template to the experience, drag and drop the page template from the Page templates panel on to the canvas.
Blank Page Template
The Blank page template has no visual elements by default and allows you to design pages from scratch. You can add text blocks, images, videos, iframe, standard buttons, card buttons, and search elements to the page from the Add element sidebar.
Content Page Template
The Content page template has an image, a standard button, and a number of text blocks that you can customize as per the requirement. You can add more images, text blocks, videos, iframes, standard buttons, card buttons and search elements to the page from the Add element sidebar.
Card Menu Page Template
The Card Menu page template has a number of text blocks and card buttons by default. You can add more text blocks and card buttons, and further add images, videos, iframes, standard buttons, and search elements to the page from the Add element sidebar.
i3D Page Template
The i3D page template has text blocks, standard buttons, and a placeholder for 3D objects or 2D images. This is the only page template that can host 3D objects that you can rotate and zoom in or out.
The i3D page settings located on the right panel allows you to add a 3D object or 2D image.
