Launch Page
Any new experience that you create has a Launch page by default. This page is the landing page of your experience and is the first page that opens when you launch an experience on your device using the URL or QR code.
By default, the Launch page has three visual elements - image, text block, and standard button. You can add more elements from the Add element sidebar on the right of the page.
When you select the Launch page in the canvas, its Page Settings are visible in the Page templates panel. The Page Settings provides options to enable the Search feature and select the Experience Access for mobile app and/or web browser.
Important points about the Launch page:
- It cannot be deleted or duplicated.
- It can have only one image element.
- It can have only one standard button that cannot be deleted.
- The On click action of the standard button cannot point to the previous page.
- It cannot have card buttons or 3D objects.
Page Templates
Page templates are pre-designed page layouts that allow you to quickly assemble experiences by simply dragging and dropping them onto your canvas.
The benefit is accelerated page creation that eliminates the need to build page layouts from scratch. With page templates, content creators have access to a broad range of page layouts to suit diverse workflows.
How it Works:
Navigate to the "Templates" panel within the Experience Builder. Select "Page Templates" and browse the available options. Drag and drop your chosen template directly onto your canvas.
Experience Templates
Experience templates enable rapid experience development. Content creators can start with a pre-configured experience and customize it to your specific needs.
How it Works:
Navigate to the "Templates" panel on the right-hand side of the Experience Builder. Select "Experience Templates" and explore the available options. Before inserting a template into your draft experience, you can preview it in a miniature Experience Builder canvas. This preview allows you to examine the template's structure, flow, and content in detail. Once you are satisfied, select the desired template, and it will populate the main Experience Builder canvas with all the template pages. You can then customize the pages to your specific needs.
