Overview
CareAR requires access to the following features of your mobile device in order to function properly:
- Camera (Assist & Instruct) – required for Assist AV sessions, as well as the camera capture feature in Instruct
- Microphone (Assist Only) – Required for Assist AV sessions.
- Location (Assist) – Required for Analytics
The following sections aim to provide guidance on how to enable these permissions if previously denied.
Android
Note: Actual Navigation may vary between device models
Navigate to Settings>Apps>App Info>CareAR
Ensure that Camera, Microphone and Location are all set to allowed. See example below:

Web
Chrome
Open Chrome on your mobile device, navigate to Settings>Site Settings and Select Location, Camera, or Microphone respectively. Ensure that https://awc-crear.web.app is not blocked. See example below:
Safari
Navigate to Settings>Safari, scroll down the page until you see Camera, Microphone and Location, and ensure that each setting is set to at minimum “Ask”. See example below:
Samsung Internet
Open Samsung Internet on your mobile device, navigate to Settings>Sites and downloads>Site permissions, and ensure that Camera, Location, and Microphone is set to allowed. See example below:
Brave
Open brave on your mobile device, and navigate to Settings>Site Settings and Select Location, Camera, or Microphone respectively. Ensure that https://awc-crear.web.app is not blocked. See example below:
