Update 12/13/2021: With the release of iOS 15.2 this issue is no longer seen. If your device is utilizing iOS 15.1 please update your OS to iOS 15.2. To read more about the 15.2 iOS update please visit Apple's website here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/ios-ipados-release-notes/ios-ipados-15_2-release-notes
It has been identified that with Apple's most recent release of 15.1 for iOS iPhone devices you may experience performance issues when attempting to join a CareAR session via the web browser client while using the iOS Safari browser. The occurrence specifically happens when the collaborator attempts to join a session using the Safari browser and attempts to launch the audio or camera. Enabling either may disconnect the user from the session.
We believe the problem will be corrected with Apple’s IOS release 15.2. Until the release of 15.2 the best alternative for 15.1 iOS users is to download the latest version of CareAR Assist at the Appstore which can be found here: CareAR Assist on iOS
Using an iOS device that is prior to 15.1 will still function as normal when using the web browser client for iOS Safari.
