Release 25.02.01 of CareAR for ServiceNow delivers the following minor updates:
- Browser Host Support
- Enhanced Activity Feed Messages for CareAR Sessions
New Features
BROWSER HOST SUPPORT
ServiceNow users can now enjoy a more streamlined experience: CareAR Assist sessions can be conducted natively within your web browser, removing the need for any software installation.
This capability builds upon the browser-based host app for CareAR Assist calls, which was first introduced in CareAR platform release 24.04.002. Now, with the CareAR for ServiceNow v25.02.01 release, this browser-based method is the default way to launch CareAR Assist sessions on desktop computers.
Important Changes:
- The native CareAR Assist applications for Windows and macOS are no longer supported with CareAR for ServiceNow 25.02.01.
- Upon upgrading to CareAR for ServiceNow 25.02.01, all users launching a CareAR Assist session from ServiceNow will find it opens in a new browser window.
ENHANCED ACTIVITY FEED MESSAGES FOR CAREAR SESSIONS
We've improved the CareAR Assist and CareAR Instruct messages in the ServiceNow activity feed! These updates make the messages much easier to read and understand. Now, anyone reviewing the activity feed will have a clearer picture of how CareAR was utilized for a specific case, incident, or work order. This means quicker insights and better context at a glance.
